CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On April 8, 2015, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) for approval of an Amending Agreement to the Franchise Agreement between the District of Logan Lake (District) and FEI (Application);

 

B.      The term of the Franchise Agreement was set to expire on April 8, 2015;

 

C.      FEI and the District have entered into an Amending Agreement which extends the terms and conditions of the Franchise Agreement to September 30, 2015; and

 

D.      The Commission reviewed the Application and considers that approval is warranted.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE the British Columbia Utilities Commission, pursuant to section 45 of the Utilities Commission Act, approves the Amending Agreement as filed.
