Dear Ms. Fraser:
Re: British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority
Electric Tariff and Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) Application to Replace Mid Columbia Electricity Price Indices Compliance with Commission Order No. G-36-15 Directive 3 Extension Request
The British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) writes in regard to your letter dated April 1, 2015 requesting an extension for filing the amended pages of the OATT and Electric Tariff.
Commission Directive 3 of Order G-36-15 dated March 13, 2015, ordered that “BC Hydro must file the amended pages of the OATT and Electric Tariff with the Commission, in accordance with the terms of this Order within 30 days, or, in the event BC Hydro is unable to implement the required system methodologies in advance of the July 2015 expiry of the Platts subscription, advise the Commission of its proposed compliance filing date. The implementation date must occur no later than July 1, 2016.” The compliance filing deadline established by Directive 3 would be April 12, 2015.
By letter dated April 1, 2015, BC Hydro requests relief from Directive 3 of Order G-36-15, in order to provide that on or before June 26, 2015, BC Hydro must either file the amended pages for the OATT and Electric Tariff with the Commission or advise the Commission of its proposed compliance filing date if it is unable to implement the required system methodologies in advance of the July 2015 expiry of the Platts subscription.
The Commission accepts BC Hydro’s request and extends the filing date for the amended pages for the OATT and Electric Tariff to June 26, 2015.
Yours truly,
Erica Hamilton
