O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

A.      On May 15, 2015, Silversmith Power & Light Corporation (Silversmith), filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) pursuant to section 58 of the Utilities Commission Act, an application seeking, among other things, approval to change electricity rates (Application);

B.      In the Application, Silversmith requests approval of a flow-through rate adjustment mechanism similar to that approved by Order G-68-05;

C.      Silversmith also requests approval to change its tariff terms and conditions for electrical service; and

D.      The Commission considers establishing a regulatory timetable for the review of the Application through a written proceeding is necessary and in the public interest.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to sections 58 to 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the British Columbia Utilities Commission orders as follows:

1.       Silversmith Power & Light Corporation is directed to provide adequate and timely notice of its application and this order to its customers.

2.       The Regulatory Timetable for the Application is set out in Appendix A to this order.

3.       Interveners and interested parties should register to participate in the written proceeding with the British Columbia Utilities Commission via email or in writing, by June 8, 2015. Interveners and interested parties should specifically state the nature of their interest in the Application, and identify generally the nature of the issues that they intend to pursue during the proceeding, and the nature and extent of their anticipated involvement in the Application.
