ORDER

WHEREAS:

A.      On March 21, 2016, Creative Energy Vancouver Platforms Inc. (CEVP) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) an application to vary Section 4.3 of the Decision accompanying Order G-98-15 (Application). The Application would extend the timeline of CEVP’s Fuel Cost Adjustment Charge (FCAC) filing from within 10 business days of the effective date of each change to within 30 business days of the effective date of each change;

B.      On November 28, 2014, CEVP filed its 2015-2017 Revenue Requirements Application with the Commission pursuant to sections 59-61, and 89 of the Utilities Commission Act;

C.      On June 9, 2016, the Commission issued Order G-98-15 and the accompanying Decision directing CEVP, amongst other things, to file with the Commission any changes to the FCAC within 10 business days of the effective date of each change;

D.      CEVP submits that the decision to make any changes to the FCAC is always made after the month it is to be in effect, thus outside the 10 business days as directed in the existing order; and

E.       The Commission reviewed the Application and determines the variance to the Decision accompanying Order G-98-15 is warranted.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the British Columbia Utilities Commission approves Creative Energy Vancouver Platforms Inc.’s Application to vary Section 4.3 of the Decision accompanying the Order G-98-15, extending the timeline of Creative Energy Vancouver Platforms Inc.’s Fuel Cost Adjustment Charge filing from within 10 business days of the effective date of each change to within 30 business days of the effective date of each change.

DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this      14th       day of April 2016.
