Re:         Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd.

Acceptance of Firm Service Amending Agreement

Dear Ms. Kennedy:

On November 16, 2017, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) issued Letter L-31-17, accepting Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG)’s amendment to the 2017/18 Annual Contracting Plan (ACP) to allow for bidding on additional capacity along the CS2 to Summit Lake Path. PNG was requested to notify the BCUC of the outcome of the bid process within 15 days of the date PNG was notified of the outcome of the bid process.

On September 21, 2018, PNG submitted a summary of the information requested by the BCUC, as per letter
L-31-17 and on October 9, 2018, PNG filed the Firm Service Amending Agreement dated December 5, 2017, which contained details of the gas transport capacity received from its successful bid, as requested by Letter
L-31-17.

The BCUC accepts the Firm Service Amending Agreement as filed. Further, the BCUC is satisfied that the information submitted meets the requirements of the compliance filing as outlined in Letter L-31-17. The BCUC notes your compliance filing was submitted past the deadline as set out in Letter 31-17.

The BCUC will hold the documents confidential as they contain market sensitive information.

PNG is reminded in future to submit compliance filings in a timely manner.

Sincerely,
