ORDER

WHEREAS:

A.      On October 30, 2018, pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) an amendment of the renewed Mist Storage Agreement D (Agreement) between FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) and Northwest Natural Gas Company (NWN), for the period November 1, 2018 to May 31, 2024 (Filing);

B.      On September 29, 2017, FEI filed with the BCUC an executed copy of the Agreement negotiated between FEI and NWN for the period of April 1, 2018 to May 31, 2024;

C.      On October 19, 2017 the BCUC accepted the Agreement via Order E-18-17;

D.      On June 28, 2017, the BCUC accepted the FEI 2017/18 Annual Gas Contracting Plan (ACP) through Letter L-15-17;

E.       FEI requests that the Filing and associated documents remain confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature; and

F.       The BCUC has reviewed the Filing and is satisfied that the Agreement is consistent with the ACP and in the public interest.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the BCUC’s Rules for Natural

Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the BCUC accepts the Agreement between FEI and NWN for filing. The BCUC will keep the Filing and associated documents confidential as they contain commercially sensitive information.
