Re:         Sustainable Services Ltd. (SSL) – Compliance with Order G-213-20 – Project No. 1599154 – Suspension of Regulatory Process

Dear Mr. Taylor:

On December 3, 2020, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) issued Order G-313-20, as amended by Order G-313-20A, which established a regulatory process for review of SSL’s possible contravention of the Utilities Commission Act and potential non-compliance with BCUC Order G-213-20. The review process included one round of BCUC Staff Questions, a deadline to provide public notice to SSL’s strata customers by January 6, 2021, and a deadline to submit letters of comment of January 20, 2021.

On December 6, 2020, SSL submitted responses to BCUC Staff Questions.

On January 4, 2021, SSL submitted a request to suspend the public notification process in the proceeding to allow for a meeting between SSL representatives and the BCUC.

The BCUC has reviewed SSL’s request and the responses to BCUC Staff Questions and by this letter grants SSL’s request to suspend the regulatory review process for 30 days from the date of this letter.

Sincerely,
