A Filing by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority

of Amending Agreements to Electricity Purchase Agreements

 

BEFORE:                L.F. Kelsey, Commissioner                      December 22 , 2005

 

O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

 

A.  Pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act (the “Act”) on December 2, 2005 British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) filed with the Commission certain agreements (the “Amending Agreements”) that amend Electricity Purchase Agreements and which BC Hydro processed during the three month period ending September 30, 2005 (the “Application”).  The Amending Agreements are listed in Appendix A to this Order and are more specifically identified in Schedule A (“Schedule A”) of the Application; and

 

B.   In the Application BC Hydro requested that the Commission keep the Amending Agreements and Schedule A confidential; and

 

C.   The Commission has considered the Application.

 

NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows:

 

1.   Pursuant to Section 71 of the Act, the Amending Agreements that are set out in Appendix A to this Order are accepted for filing as amendments to energy supply contracts.

 

2.   The Commission will keep confidential the Amending Agreements and Schedule A.
