ORDER
WHEREAS:
A. On February 27, 2023, pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA), FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) an executed copy of the Rockpoint Gas Storage Agreement (Agreement) negotiated between FEI and AECO Gas Storage Partnership, by its Managing Partner Rockpoint Gas Storage Canada Ltd. (Rockpoint) for the period of April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2026 (Filing);
B. On June 3, 2022, the BCUC accepted the FEI 2022/2023 Annual Gas Contracting Plan by Letter L-21-22;
C. FEI requests that the Filing and associated documents remain confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature; and
D. The BCUC has reviewed the Filing and is satisfied that the Agreement is consistent with the 2022/2023 ACP and is in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the UCA and the Rules, the BCUC orders as follows:
1. The BCUC accepts the Agreement between FEI and Rockpoint for filing.
2. The BCUC will keep the un-redacted version of the Filing confidential as it contains commercially sensitive information.
