ORDER
WHEREAS:
B. On July 18, 2022, the BCUC issued Order G-195-22 to Hemlock, addressing, among other things, the safety and reliability of Hemlock’s electric utility infrastructure. In the Reasons for Decision accompanying Order G‑195-22, the BCUC directed Hemlock to file the Forecasts within six months of the issuance of Order G‑195-22;
C. Hemlock states that it requires an extension for the Forecasts as planning is still in process, including analysis from SitePower Engineering Consultants; and
D. The BCUC has reviewed the Application and considers that an amendment to the filing deadline of the Forecasts is warranted.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders that Directive 4 of Order G-195-22 is varied as follows:
Within fourteen (14) months of Order G-195-22, Hemlock is directed to file with the BCUC:
i. A 10-year forecast of customers, for each year of the forecast period, based on current and projected approvals; and
ii. A 10-year energy and peak capacity forecast, for each year of the forecast period.
DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this 28th day of April 2023.
