ORDER
WHEREAS:
A. By letter dated June 15, 2023, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) requested that the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) appoint a panel and issue a procedural order for the review of its upcoming Application for Acceptance of Demand-Side Management (DSM) Expenditures Plan for the period covering 2024 to 2027 (DSM Plan);
B. By Order G-178-23, dated July 7, 2023, the BCUC established a regulatory timetable providing for intervener registration, one round of information requests (IRs), and submissions on further process;
C. On July 12, 2023, FEI filed its DSM Plan pursuant to section 44.2(1)(a) of the Utilities Commission Act;
D. On September 7, 2023, FEI filed its responses to IRs;
E. On September 13, 2023, BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA), BC Old Age Pensioners’ Organization et al (BCOAPO et al), Residential Consumer Intervener Association (RCIA) and the Commercial Energy Consumers Association of BC (the CEC) filed submissions on further process, followed by FEI’s reply on September 18, 2023; and
F. The BCUC has reviewed the evidence and submissions and considers an amended regulatory timetable is warranted.
NOW THEREFORE the BCUC orders an amended regulatory timetable, as set out in Appendix A to this order.
