ORDER NUMBER
R-3-24
IN THE MATTER OF
the Utilities Commission Act, RSBC 1996, Chapter 473
and
British Columbia Utilities Commission
Mandatory Reliability Standards with Effective Dates Adopted in British Columbia
BEFORE:
E. B. Lockhart, Panel Chair
E. A. Brown, Commissioner
on February 14, 2024
ORDER
WHEREAS:
A. On January 16, 2024, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) issued Order R-1-24 retiring reliability standards MOD-001-1a, MOD-004-1, MOD-008-1, MOD-028-2, MOD-029-2a and MOD-030-3 in B.C. effective February 1, 2024. Order R-1-24 includes Attachment A, the list of adopted reliability standards with effective dates;
B. Subsequent to issuance of the order, an administrative error was identified in Attachment A to Order
R-1-24 where the effective date of reliability standard FAC-008-5 had been inadvertently changed from April 1, 2023 to July 1, 2024; and
C. The BCUC has reviewed the effective date for FAC-008-5 and determines that a revised Attachment A is warranted.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 of the Utilities Commission Act the BCUC orders that the revised Attachment A to this order replaces the Attachment A to Order R-1-24.
DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this 14th day of February 2024.
