On April 4, 2024

 

ORDER

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On March 5, 2024, BC Hydro filed an application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) for Off-Grid Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (Application);

B.      By Order G-85-24 dated March 21, 2024, the BCUC established a regulatory timetable for the review of the Application, which included public notice, letters of comments and BC Hydro’s reply, if any, to letters of comment;

C.      On April 3rd, 2024, BC Hydro filed an update to the Application by which it adds a location for an electric vehicle charging station in Pink Mountain, BC, and indicates BC Hydro will notify local First Nation communities; and

D.      The BCUC has considered BC Hydro’s update to the Application and determines that the establishment of an amended regulatory timetable is warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC establishes an amended regulatory timetable, as set out in Appendix A to this order.
