ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On June 28, 2024, Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (together, PNG) filed an application (Application) for acceptance by the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) of the 2024 Consolidated Resource Plan (2024 CRP) pursuant to section 44.1 of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA);

B.      PNG is not seeking approval for any particular elements identified in its 2024 CRP;

C.      By Order G-215-24, dated August 13, 2024, the BCUC established a public hearing and timetable consisting of an evidentiary update, intervener registration, one round of BCUC and intervener information requests (IRs), letters of comment and final and reply arguments;

D.      On August 23, 2024, PNG submitted an evidentiary update to the 2024 CRP;

E.       British Columbia Sustainable Energy Assocation, BC Old Age Pensioners Organization and Residential Consumer Intervener Association registered as interveners in the proceeding;

F.       By letter dated October 22, 2024, PNG requested an extension for filing its responses to IR no. 1; and

G.      The BCUC determines that the establishment of an amended regulatory timetable is warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC establishes an amended regulatory timetable as set out in Appendix A to this order.
