Rate Schedule 7 Renewable Natural Gas Housekeeping Amendments

ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On October 11, 2024, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) filed housekeeping amendments to Rate Schedule (RS) 7RNG with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) to incorporate the standard terms and conditions from RS 7, which were inadvertently omitted in the current RS 7RNG (RS 7RNG Filing);

B.      On May 31, 2024, FEI applied to the BCUC for approval of amendments to the rate schedules and General Terms and Conditions of FEI’s tariff, effective July 1, 2024 (RNG Tariff Application), in compliance with Decision and Order G-77-24 regarding FEI’s revised Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) program. The RNG Tariff Application included RS 7RNG;

C.      On August 29, 2024, by Order G-237-24, the BCUC approved the amendments to FEI’s rate schedules and General Terms and Conditions as filed, and subsequently amended, in the RNG Tariff Application;

D.      By email dated October 29, 2024, FEI confirmed that there are no customers, currently or historically, taking service on RS 7RNG; and

E.       The BCUC has reviewed the RS 7RNG Filing and determines that the proposed amendments to the RS 7RNG tariff are warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders as follows:

 

1.    The BCUC consents to the proposed amendments to RS 7RNG as set out in the RS 7RNG Filing.

 

2.    The revised tariff pages, as set out in the RS 7RNG Filing, are accepted for filing effective the date of this order.
