ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On October 7, 2024, Plateau Pipe Line Ltd. (Plateau), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pembina Pipeline Corporation and general partner of Pembina West Limited Partnership, filed an application (Application) with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) for approval to abandon common carrier service on the northern segment (Northern Segment) of the western pipeline system (Western System) pursuant to sections 65 and 72(2) of the Utilities Commission Act;

B.      By Order G-262-24 dated October 18, 2024, the BCUC established a public hearing process and regulatory timetable to review the Application. Subsequently, by Orders G-301-24, G-332-24, and G-350-24 dated November 19, 2024, December 12, 2024, and December 20, 2024, respectively, the BCUC established further regulatory timetables, which included amongst other things, one round of information requests (IRs) with responses due by March 5, 2025;

C.      By letter dated March 4, 2025, Plateau requested a two-day extension to the deadline for filing IR responses;

D.      By letter dated March 4, 2025, Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd. confirmed its support for Plateau’s request to extend the deadline for filing IR responses; and

E.       The BCUC considers establishment of an amended regulatory timetable is warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC amends the regulatory timetable established by Order G-350-24, as set out in Appendix A to this order.
