ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On November 25, 2024, Creative Energy Vancouver Platforms Inc. (Creative Energy) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) an application (Application) seeking acceptance of its 2024 Long-Term Resource Plan for the Core Thermal Energy System pursuant to sections 44.1(2) and 44.1(6) of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA);

B.      By Orders G-2-25 and G-93-25, the BCUC established and amended a regulatory timetable for review of the Application, which included public notice, intervener registration, BCUC and intervener information requests (IRs), Creative Energy responses to IRs, and final and reply arguments;

C.      On March 7, 2025, Creative Energy submitted its responses to BCUC and interveners IRs;

D.      On April 25, 2025, Creative Energy submitted its final argument;

E.       On May 13, 2025, BCOAPO requested an extension to file its final argument, from May 15, 2025 to May 21, 2025, due to constraints in its consulting resources which are engaged in a hearing in a different jurisdiction which had a last-minute scheduling change;  

F.       On May 13, 2025, Creative Energy filed a letter indicating that it does not object BCOAPO’s extension request, however it requests a proportional extension for Creative Energy to file its reply argument, by June 5, 2025;

G.      The BCUC has considered BCOAPO’s and Creative Energy’s requests and determines that the establishment of an amended regulatory timetable is warranted.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC establishes an amended regulatory timetable, as set out in Appendix A to this order.
