ORDER

WHEREAS:

A.      On June 3, 2025, Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG(NE)) filed an application (Application) with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC), pursuant to sections 59 to 61 of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA), requesting approval of amendments to Tariff Supplement No. 3 – Service Agreement Between PNG(NE) and Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL);

B.      By Order G-56-07 dated May 29, 2007, the BCUC accepted, pursuant to section 71(1), the service agreement between PNG(NE) and CNRL (Service Agreement), effective January 1, 2007;

C.      In the Application, PNG(NE) states that certain amendments to the Service Agreement are required to reflect changes to the composition of gas supplied at the Tumbler Ridge gas processing plant and associated service terms; and

D.      The BCUC has commenced review of the Application and considers that the establishment of a regulatory timetable is warranted.

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC orders as follows:

1.       A regulatory timetable is established as set out in Appendix A to this order.

2.       PNG(NE) is directed to make the Application available on its external website for the duration of this proceeding and to provide a copy of the Application and this order to CNRL by no later than Friday, July 11, 2025.

3.       PNG(NE) is directed to provide written confirmation to the BCUC that it has posted a copy of the Application on its website and provided notice to CNRL pursuant to Directive 2 by Friday, July 18, 2025.

4.       In accordance with BCUC’s Rules of Practice and Procedure, any party wishing to provide comments is invited to submit a Letter of Comment by the date established in the regulatory timetable. Letters of comment must be submitted by way of the Letter of Comment Form available on the BCUC’s website at https://www.bcuc.com/Forms/LetterOfComment.
