ORDER
WHEREAS:
A. On February 12, 2025, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) filed an application (Application) with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act for acceptance of ten electricity purchase agreements with the successful proponents of BC Hydro’s 2024 call to acquire clean or renewable electricity from greenfield generating facilities in British Columbia;
B. By Order G-51-25 dated February 26, 2025, the BCUC established a regulatory timetable for review of the Application. The timetable was furthered, most recently, by BCUC Order G-164-25 dated June 27, 2025, which established a deadline of July 2, 2025, for BC Hydro to respond to two letters of comment filed by K'ómoks First Nation (K'ómoks) on June 26, 2025;
C. By letter dated June 30, 2025, BC Hydro requested an extension to the deadline to file its response to the June 26th K'ómoks letters of comment and final argument to July 8, 2025 (Extension Request); and
D. The BCUC has reviewed the Extension Request and considers an amendment to the regulatory timetable to be warranted.
NOW THEREFORE the BCUC orders that an amended regulatory timetable is established, as set out in Appendix A to this order.
