ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On April 2, 2025, Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG(NE)) filed its 2025–2027 Revenue Requirements Application with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) for its Fort St. John/Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge divisions pursuant to sections 58 to 61, 89 and 90 of the Utilities Commission Act seeking permanent approval of its 2025, 2026 and 2027 basic charges and delivery rates, and its 2025 Revenue Stabilization Adjustment Mechanism (RSAM) rate rider (Application), effective January 1, 2025;

B.      By Order G-102-25, the BCUC established a regulatory timetable for the proceeding, which included, among other things, intervener final argument and PNG(NE) reply argument;

C.      On May 27, 2025, the BCUC accepted British Columbia Old Age Pensioners' Organization, et al. (BCOAPO) and Residential Consumer Intervener Association (RCIA) to participate as one intervener group;

D.      On September 3, 2025, BCOAPO and RCIA filed an extension request for intervener final argument to be due one week after the previously established timeline of Thursday, September 4, 2025, due to concurrent deadlines for other BCUC proceedings; and

E.       The BCUC has considered BCOAPO and RCIA’s extension request and determines that an amendment to the regulatory timetable is warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC amends the regulatory timetable for the PNG(NE) 2025 to 2027 Revenue Requirements for the Fort St. John/Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge divisions proceeding as set out in Appendix A to this order.
