Rate Schedule 30 Housekeeping Updates

ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On August 21, 2025, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) for approval of proposed housekeeping updates to Rate Schedule 30 (RS 30) - Off-System Sales and Purchases Rate Schedule and Agreement (Canada and U.S.A.) Tariff Pages to incorporate minor grammatical corrections, as well as minor edits in order to better align with the specifics of the British Columbia tax regime in which FEI operates (Application);

B.      By Order G-79-01 dated July 12, 2001, the BCUC approved amendments to RS 30, to adopt the October 26, 2000 version of the Gas Electronic Data Interface (GasEDI) base contract and FEI’s set of Standard Provisions, and by Orders G-89-03, G-197-11, G-19-16, and G-58-20, the BCUC approved further amendments to RS 30 as filed by FEI;

C.      By Order G-349-24 dated December 19, 2024, the BCUC approved amendments to RS 30 to adopt the General Terms and Conditions of the 2005 GasEDI Base Contract and the related amendments to the Standard Provisions; and

D.      The BCUC has reviewed the Application and makes the following determinations.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to sections 59 to 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders as follows:

 

1.       The proposed housekeeping updates to RS 30 as set out in the Application are approved.

2.       The revised RS 30 Tariff Pages, as set out in the Application, are accepted for filing effective the date of this order.
