CNG Fuelling Service Agreements TS J-42, TS J-53 and TS J-56 Cancellations
and Housekeeping Updates

ORDER
WHEREAS:
A. On August 22, 2025, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) for approval pursuant to sections 59 to 61 of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA) to cancel three tariff supplements (TS), outlined below (Application):
i. TS J-42: Fueling Service Agreement (FSA) between FEI and P&R Truck Centre Ltd. (P&R), approved by Order G-146-18, on a permanent basis effective August 3, 2018, for CNG fueling services at the Mid Island Fueling Station. FEI states that the contract term expired on August 2, 2025 and P&R no longer requires fueling service from the station;
ii. TS J-53: FSA between FEI and Fresh Direct Produce Ltd. (Fresh Direct), approved by Order G-10-20, on a permanent basis effective January 15, 2020, for CNG fueling services at the Burnaby Operations Fueling Station. FEI states Fresh Direct no longer requires fueling service from the station; and
iii. TS J-56: FSA between FEI and Integrity Waste Solutions Inc. (Integrity), approved by Order G-28-24, on a permanent basis effective February 5, 2024, for CNG fueling services at the Burnaby Operations Fueling Station. FEI states Integrity no longer requires fueling service from the station.
B. Under sections 6(c) of TS J-53 and 6(d) of TS J-56, the contracts can be cancelled for any reason by the customer or FEI;
C. The Application also includes proposed housekeeping updates to the Index Pages for FEI’s tariff supplements to correct typographical errors in the Renewal Terms referenced for TS J-2 and TS J-32, and to revise the site names for TS J-7, TS J-8, TS J-22, TS J-23, TS J-66, and TS J-77 to reflect a standardized designation of “GFL Abbotsford Site” for consistency; and
D. The BCUC has reviewed the Application and determines that rescindment of TS J-42, TS J-53 and TS J-56 and approval of housekeeping updates to the Index pages for FEI’s tariff supplements are warranted.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to sections 59 to 61 of the UCA, the BCUC orders as follows:
1. TS J-42, TS J-53, and TS J-56 are rescinded, effective the date of this order.
2. The housekeeping changes to the Index Pages in relation to TS J-2, TS J-7, TS J-8, TS J-22, TS J-23, TS J-32,
TS J-66, and TS J-77, set out in the Application, are approved.
3. The tariff pages filed in the Application are accepted as filed.
