ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.            On September 23, 2025, Kyuquot Power Ltd. (KPL) submitted tariff pages for endorsement to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC), in accordance with the rates approved by Order G-225-25 dated September 16, 2025, for the KPL 2026 Revenue Requirements Application. KPL refiled these tariff pages for endorsement on October 17, 2025 (altogether, the Filing);

B.             Pursuant to Directive 1 of Order G-225-25, KPL is approved to charge the following on a permanent basis, effective on the date of the order:

                           i.            A Basic Charge of $10.00 per month for Rate Schedule (RS) 1101 and 1102;

                         ii.            An RS 1101 Energy Charge of $0.4729 per kilowatt hour (kWh); and

                        iii.            An RS 1102 Energy Charge of $0.3052 per kWh;

 

C.             In the Filing, KPL requests that the BCUC amend the effective date for the rates approved by Order G-225-25 from September 16, 2025 to September 28, 2025, to match the first day of its billing cycle; and

D.            The BCUC has reviewed the Filing and considers that the following determination is warranted.


NOW THEREFORE
pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC varies Directive 1 of Order
G-225-25 to read as follows:

1.       KPL is approved to charge the following on a permanent basis, effective September 28, 2025:

a.       A Basic Charge of $10.00 per month for RS 1101 and 1102;

b.       An RS 1101 Energy Charge of $0.4729 per kWh; and

c.        An RS 1102 Energy Charge of $0.3052 per kWh.
