ORDER

WHEREAS:

A.      On January 5, 2026, Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (collectively, PNG) filed a letter with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) requesting an extension of the compliance filing deadline pursuant to Directive 3 of Order G-55-25 regarding PNG’s 2024 Consolidated Resource Plan (Extension Request);

B.       Directive 3 of Decision and Order G-55-25 directed PNG to provide in a compliance filing, no later than December 31, 2025, further information regarding its resiliency risks as detailed in Section 2.5 of the accompanying decision (Compliance Filing);

C.       In the Extension Request, PNG explains that the Compliance Filing was inadvertently overlooked and it has now commenced preparation of the required materials. PNG states that additional time is required to ensure that the Compliance Filing is complete, accurate, and fully responsive to BCUC’s directions. PNG requests an extension to March 7, 2026, which falls on a Saturday. PNG clarified this was a typographical error, and the requested deadline is Friday, March 6, 2026; and

D.      The BCUC has reviewed the Extension Request and considers the following determination is warranted.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders the Compliance Filing deadline is extended from December 31, 2025, to March 6, 2026.

DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this      12th      day of January 2026.
