Extension Request Regarding Confidential Information G-313-25

ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      By Order G-313-25 dated December 22, 2025, the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) was directed to provide Mr. Gratl, counsel for K’ómoks First Nation, access to certain confidential information (Confidential Information) filed in the BC Hydro 2024 Call for Power Electricity Purchase Agreements proceeding within 14 days of Mr. Gratl filing an executed copy of a confidentiality undertaking;

B.      By letter dated January 22, 2026, BC Hydro states that it received the executed confidentiality undertaking from Mr. Gratl on January 8, 2026 and, as such, is required to provide the Confidential Information to Mr. Gratl by today (January 22, 2026);

C.      In that same letter, BC Hydro states that while it provided certain of the Confidential Information to Mr. Gratl on January 15, 2026, it experienced document corruption issues while finalizing the redactions to the remaining materials and that an extension is required to resolve this issue. BC Hydro requests that it be granted an extension until January 26, 2026 to provide the remaining Confidential Information (Extension Request); and

D.      The BCUC has reviewed the Extension Request and considers the following determination to be warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders that the deadline for BC Hydro to provide the Confidential Information to Mr. Gratl is extended from January 22, 2026, to January 26, 2026.
