ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On January 23, 2026, BC Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC), an application for approval, pursuant to sections 58 to 61 of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA), of the Solar North Interruptible Electricity Supply Agreement in the form of Tariff Supplement No. 112 (Solar North IESA) between BC Hydro and Tll Yahda Energy (TYE) (Application);

B.      TYE, an independent power producer, owns and operates the Haida Solar North Project, a solar generating facility located on the Masset microgrid, which serves Masset and communities in the north of Haida Gwaii in one of BC Hydro’s Non-Integrated Areas (NIA); and

C.      The BCUC has reviewed the Application and finds the following determinations are warranted.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to sections 59 to 61 of the UCA, the BCUC orders as follows:

1.       The rates established in the Solar North IESA are approved on a permanent basis, effective the date of this order.

2.       Tariff Supplement No. 112 is accepted as filed.
