Variance of Order G-45-26

ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On March 16, 2026, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) requesting a variance to Directive 2 of Order G-45-26 (Application);

B.      On March 11, 2026, the BCUC issued Order G-45-26 approving Electric Tariff Supplement No. 111 – Interim Transmission Service Agreement for Woodfibre LNG (TS 111) for provision of electricity service on a curtailable basis for Woodfibre LNG Limited Partnership (WLNG);

C.      Directive 2 of Order G-45-26 directed BC Hydro to file a fully executed TS 111 with the BCUC for endorsement within 30 days;

D.      In the Application, BC Hydro explains it interprets Directive 2 to mean a copy that is signed by BC Hydro and WLNG within 30 days of the BCUC order; and

E.       The BCUC has reviewed the Application and considers that the following determination is warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders that Directive 2 of Order G-45-26 is varied to read as follows:

BC Hydro is directed to file a fully executed TS 111 with the BCUC for endorsement within 30 days of the agreement being signed by both parties.
