Hydro"), Gas Division was filed by Roberts and Muir, Barristers and Solicitors; and WHEREAS the complaint alleged that B.C. Hydro, contrary to the requirements of Section 65 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"), is wrongfully discriminating against the complainants in the provision of natural gas service to Breakaway Bays and Crispen Bays mobile home parks; and WHEREAS the complainants request B.C. Hydro to purchase the natural gas service lines in the Breakaway Bay and Crispen Bay mobile home parks and install individual meters for the tenants located therein, similar to an agreement between B.C. BRITISH COLUMB!A UTILITIES COMMISSION ORDER 2 NUMBER G-46-86 WHEREAS on July 17, 1986 a report on the investigation of the complaint was provided to the Commission; and WHEREAS the Commission has completed a full review of the report on the investigation. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders B.C. Hydro and Power Authority, Gas Division, as follows: 1. Because of the unique circumstances involved in the complaint, B.C. Hydro is directed as follows: (a) To acquire the natural gas distribution systems in the Breakaway Bays Mobile Home Park ("Breakaway") and the Crispen Bays Mobile Home Park ("Crispen") for the amount of $1.00 each. (b) To provide natural gas service to the residents of the Breakaway and to Crispen parks, utilizing the existing plastic distribution lines, on the terms and conditions prescribed in B.C. Hydro's Gas Tariff "Service Policy for Mobile Home Parks", as currently applicable to new customers. 2. Should B.C. Hydro conclude that use of the existing plastic distribution lines is either unsafe or uneconomic, an analysis justifying the replacement thereof is to be promptly provided to the Commission.
