BRITISH COlUM8tA UTllITlES COMMISSION ORDER N~~ER G-88-88 PROVINCE OF BRITISH COLUMBIA BRITISH COLUMBIA UTILITIES COMMISSION IN THE MA TTER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and IN THE MA TTER OF an Application by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, ) Chairman; ) J.D.V. Newlands, ) September 15, 1988 Deputy Chairman; and ) W.M. Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") applied on August 8, 1988 for an Order of the Commission approving the transfer into income in the fiscal year ending March 31, 1989: (a) all net revenues from export power sales in fiscal year 1988/89, (b) all or a portion of the $38 million balance in the Rate Stabilization Account ("RSA"), with the totals of (a) and (b) not to exceed $72 million; and WHEREAS Commission Decision and Order No. G-25-86 dated May 9, 1986 required B.C. Hydro to: (a) transfer all net revenues from export power sales to the RSA, (b) apply to the Commission each year to obtain permission for transfers from the RSA into income; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered the Application. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority as follows: I. The Application requirmg the transfer into income from the Rate Stabilization Account, in the fiscal year ending March 31, 1989, of an amount not to exceed $72 million, is approved.
